Mummy Game Mimics Film Adventure

By Judith Z. Ruiz

If you are a fan of The Mummy film franchise, the new Mummy game, with its authentic environments is just the ticket. I smiled when I heard Rachel Weisz's familiar voice as she hailed Brendan Fraser's character. Finding the Stone of Rancor among the Tombs of Amarna is the new mission you will follow, assailed on every side by familiar enemies with unfamiliar powers.

The health of Edward Morgan's love lies in peril until the stone is found. No matter what your prowess from other battles, when you face the Elite Mummies at the far-flung end of the Nile, you will need all your wits about you. You may think you know these mummies, but in this Mummy game, they are no longer under anyone's control, so their evil tricks know no bounds. Anyone who has the guts to traverse the province of these tombs is fair sport for these unholy undead. The danger of traversing any tomb of Amarna is coming across these fearless, leaderless, nearly unstoppable mummies.

You may have thought you'd seen the demise of jackal-headed warriors, but these minions of Anubis are back! How will you make it through the shrine of the ancient god Anubis with these vile creatures out to stop anyone who dares commit the sacrilege of setting foot in the shrine of their god? Do you think you have the cojones to defeat them by yourself? Will you lead a daring team? Which tactic do you prefer - battling through enemy lines or preceding yourself with pestilences; either tactic is desirable in attempts to send these foes back to the desert. You'll find the gamut in this Mummy game.

Fans of the film will thrill to every scenario, designed with great skill to closely mimic the film's locale. A treasure trove of electrifying weapons and potions await your indulgence: guns, knives, swords, bludgeons, relics with extraordinary powers. There is never any association cost for this game. It's currently in beta, so get in on the ground floor.

You have to help shape this epic rpg by using the forums to make comments on current play, suggestions for future play, and telling the creators just what you'd like to see in this game. The game came online just a few months ago, and new updates are rolling out every month. New scenarios, new enemies, new quests, a brand new interface for the shop - every new rollout just keeps getting better and better.
