Learn How To Play Craps Through Lessons And Practice

By Olivia Cross

In casino, craps can be the most intimidating game, yet it is actually regarded as one of the best bets. The layouts appear like crazy puzzle. Worse still, there are dozens of different bets and the rules governing the game are also complicated. If you want to learn how to play craps, there are tricks that you must put into account.

Craps is one of the liveliest games in the casino. The players are constantly yelling and screaming at a win or a loss. However, a unique aspect of the game is that as a player, you have a chance to determine your own fate. Unlike other games where it is the responsibility of another person to spin the little marble or deal the cards, as a player, you have a chance to roll the dice.

It is impossible to learn all the bets at once, in fact, that will require a whole book to discuss. However, you only need one or two bets are you are good to go. Only a few bets are good, all others are suckers. One of the main bets that you need to learn is the Pass Line.

Before even learning this, the first step is to buy the chips. You put the amount of your choice on the table, and the dealer gives you the appropriate number of chips in exchange. You need to understand that all the money you put on the table is turned into chips, there is no change. However, after the game, all the chips left can be turned back to cash at the cashier booth. Every table has a minimum bet; it is usually $5 or less.

It all begins by buying the chips. The dealer collects the cash you put on the table and gives you an equal amount of chips. However, it is important to understand that they don't make the change.

It is also important to keep in mind that only totals matters, for instance, rolling a 3 does not mean getting a 3 on any of the dice. It means getting a total of three on both of the dice. The pass Line is the bet you are looking for. It has a house edge or casino profit of 1.41% and hence one of the best bets in the casino.

In order to make the Pass Line, you will have to wait until when the dealer has turned the big hockey buck to "OFF". This is an indication that the next round is almost starting. Just after the puck going OFF, put the chips on the Pass Line. The shooter will then pick the dice and roll them. The Come Out roll is the first roll and a 7 or 11 means a win for you.

As already mentioned, the Pass Line bet is all you need to know to be able to play. It is very basic. If you bet $5, you win $5 or lose $5. In order to make this bet, wait for the Come-Out Roll. This is when the puck goes to OFF. Once this is done, put the chips you are betting on the area marked Pass Line. The result of the total roll is as follows. A 7 or 11 mean a win while a 2, 3, or 12 mean a loss. However, any other numbers like 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 means that you have to go to the bonus round.
